Trap Adventure 2 – Most Devilish iOS Game Ever




If you are from the clan of gamers who like to challenge themselves to the extreme, you are reading the right article.

There is a game which will test your skill (and patience) to the limit, namely, Trap Adventure 2.

First released in 2016, Trap Adventure 2 is a mobile platformer in the style of the original Super Mario Bros, excluding all the happy endings and including hours of pain and frustration.

It is developed by Hiroyoshi Oshiba (aka “hiro!!”).

It has recently been getting attention for its clever design and hilarious level of difficulty.

This surge in popularity is partly due to a viral Twitter video of the game, which throws devilish (and completely unfair) curveballs at the player.

The game appears to be deliberately designed to anticipate the player’s next move, and ensure that something is on the way to make that maneuver impossible.

Such is the confusing nature of the human psyche, there’s nothing most of us enjoy more than a seemingly impossible task, and that is exactly what Trap Adventure 2 offers in spades.

Developer Hiroyoshi Oshiba’s description of the overall game on the App Store warns as much:

“Caution!! This may be the hardest, most irritating, frustrating game EVER.  In the event that you tend to exasperate often, I recommend you not play this video game."
"It will literally drive you insane. I PROMISE. As written above, this game is VERY STRESSFUL."
"You may get thus irritated and frustrated that you throw your phone out the window. We can’t take any responsibilities for the displeasure this video game may cause. Good luck.”

If you’re still intrigued, the game is free to download from the iOS App Store, but it will cost 99p to unlock the ad-free version - which considering how often players die and are forced to sit through an advert - is probably worth it.
