Apple Watch Update - WatchOS 4.2.2 Review
After iOS 11.3 developer version, Apple released WatchOS 4.2.2 update (build no.: 15S542) for every iOS Watch.
The latest update is available on Apple’s Update Centre and is being distributed to users now.
Installing the update
- Go to "Settings" and select "General".
- Then go to "Software update".
- Install the WatchOS 4.2.2 update package.
- Make sure you Apple Watch is charged. At least 50 percent to be on the safer side.
- It must be in the range of connection of your iPhone.
New Features and Improvements
While release notes simply say ‘improvements and bug fixes’ without mentioning any major tweaks, in reality, there have been substantial improvements.
In accordance to that, several testers have reported overall better experience while using the redesigned Workouts app on WatchOS 4.2.2 update.
Security Improvements
One thing which gained an oomph in the latest update is the Security Management and Services.
The security management has improved quite a bit with this update. A lot of previous issues were weeded out.
